Admission Requirements

Bear Professional Institute maintains specific requirements for admission to their CNA program:

  • Submission of high school transcript or proof of GED
  • Complete application for admission with non-refundable $25 application fee
  • Criminal Background check
  • Adult Abuse Registry Clearance
  • Child Abuse Clearance

  • Physical Exam including PPD / Chest X-ray Results
  • Drug Screening

Please note that the cost of the 2-step PPD testing ($100) and Criminal background check for long-term care facility ($85) are not included in the tuition. These requirements can be completed at Concentra, Health First Medical LLC, or your primary care physician.

Financial Assistance Options:

Refund Policy

Bear Professional Institute follows the state regulations for refunds. The school may retain $100.00 of the tuition and fees, and the minimum refund of the remaining tuition will be:

  • During the first 4.9% of the enrollment period: at least 80% of remaining tuition refunded
  • After 5% but to 9.9% of the period: at least 70% of remaining tuition refunded
  • After 10% but to 14.9% of the period: at least 60% of remaining tuition refunded
  • After 15% but to 24.9% of the period: at least 55% of remaining tuition refunded
  • After 25% but to 49.9% of the period: at least 30% of remaining tuition refunded
