Is the cheapest class the best value?

Acl Medical Training, LLC lists $1,050 in tuition with books, tools and other costs on top, and says the $75 certification exam is not included. Cadence Healthcare Training Solutions goes the other way and folds course materials, lab supplies, the textbook and BLS certification into one figure. The cheaper tuition and the smaller total are not the same program here.

Ways to pay

Get reimbursed after you’re hired. You may qualify for pro-rata reimbursement of eligible training costs if a Medicare- or Medicaid-certified nursing home hires you within 12 months of paying for your own training (federal rule 42 CFR 483.152). Ask the facility how it handles reimbursement.

Ask whether Next Level Jobs covers your course before you pay for it. Career Resource Center of Brown County says the state program can cover the whole cost for people who qualify. If it does not reach you, First Class Training Center runs pay-as-you-go and Grace Healthcare Institute offers installments.

Where CNAs work in Indianapolis

The three big hospital names here are IU Health Methodist Hospital, Community Hospital East and Eskenazi Health, and they are the hardest doors to walk through first. Nursing homes, home health agencies and hospices outnumber them heavily on this list, and they are where most people start.
